Delhi Public School Anand comes with a very illustrious lineage.
It is the latest addition to the DPS Chain which not only has a pan India presence, it has also established citadels of learning on several foreign shores. What started as a small school in 1948 has now grown into a chain that has over 180 schools in India and abroad.
Delhi Public School Anand may be new, but its origin is not. The Sanskriti Group which is the promoter of this school, has a very rich and successful legacy. The predecessors of DPS Anand are DPS Vadodara, DPS Harni and DPS Bharuch. All of them are under the aegis of DPS Society catering to the educational needs of over 5500 students. In fact, as per the recently announced list of top-10 Schools by CBSE, DPS Harni has been ranked as number 9 in India.
To ensure that this excellence and success is replicated at DPS Anand, we will employ the best faculty possible. This will be balanced with cutting-edge infrastructure which will include state-of-the-art facilities for an ambient learning environment. Technological innovations and assimilation into class room delivery will be the rule, rather than the exception. Getting ready for learning starts at birth, if not before. It is a natural process. But getting a child ready for school is hard work. It is suggested that some deliberate planning goes in this process, so that our children happily skip off to school. The first day of school is a day of mixed emotions for many parents.
The excitement and anticipation of embarking on a new adventure is often offset by the sadness of the end of a stage where children are more dependent and home-focused. Stepping into the classroom for the first time is like entering a whole new world. A child may be nervous and scared, not knowing what to expect.
